I like to change the arrangement of my bookshelf from time to time- sometimes by alphabetical order and sometimes by color!
WHETHER SAFELY EXPLORING INSIDE OR WANDERING OUTSIDE, WHAT ARE SOME ACTIVITIES YOU LIKE TO DO?
I like to cook when I’m indoors! I love food, and being in the kitchen gives me a sense of control. When I’m outdoors, I mostly like going for a dip in the pool. I love a good drink under the blistering sun, afternoon air, and Fleetwood Mac blasting from the speakers!
HOW IMPORTANT IS IT FOR YOU TO SAFELY GET OUTDOORS, BE STRESS-FREE AND SPEND MORE TIME IN NATURE?
I think that I need to spend pockets of time outdoors in order to function properly throughout the day. I tend to have busy schedules between school and work, and the only way to clear my head is by going outside and getting some fresh air. I like walking around; observing the greenery and just having a moment to myself.
WHAT KIND OF WANDERING ADVENTURES MAKES YOU HAPPIEST?
The ones I have with my family and friends! I think that any adventure is a bust without good company.
WHERE WILL YOU WANDER OFF TO NEXT? WILL YOU BE CHASING SUNSETS, SPENDING MORE TIME WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY, KNOCKING OFF A BIG BUCKET LIST ITEM, OR EMBRACING THE TRULY FAMILIAR—SHARE WITH US!
I’ll wander where the food is! I’m always down to drive to the next good coffee place or to share a good meal with my close friends. I think that I take each day in bite-sized quantities.
WHAT ARE SOME WAYS WE CAN BECOME MORE CONSCIOUS ADVENTURERS? ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO EMBRACE SLOW TRAVEL AND HAVE MORE MINDFUL ADVENTURES?
I think that slow travel requires a calm, empty agenda— where we’re open to new experiences that allow us to be in the present moment. I think that a conscious adventurer is one that isn’t fussy about where they wander off to— they are happy to just be anywhere.
HOW DOES WINK HELP FREE-SPIRITED WANDERERS LIKE YOU TO BE WORRY-FREE AND HAPPY?
We wear masks on ‘adventures’ nowadays, and that causes me to worry about skin reactions such as ‘maskne’. Wink allows me to feel less worried and more confident about going out because I know that throughout the day, my skin is healthy under the fabric.
