Hi there! I'm Ira, an Artist, Designer, Cat lady, and Remote Work advocate who's obsessed with the tropics.🌴 I've got a soft spot for all things creative (and cat related), and I currently work as a Product Designer for a company in London, enjoying the freedom of remote work by working anywhere around the world.🌏
To go more into detail, I love to travel, drink my tea in the mornings, and obsess over wizards, elves, and all things fantasy.🧝♂️🐉 Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Game of Thrones are some of my favorite things to geek out on.😂 I'm also a paleo health junky 🌱 and cat mom to my two favorite floofs, Basqui and Tiffany!

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER OR LOOK FOR WHEN BOOKING A VACATION OR GETAWAY?
The first and most important would be Wifi. As someone who works remotely, I'd need a place with a decent internet connection or an abundance of coworking spaces and cafes to get my work done. The second would be the cost of living- when I travel, I don't usually look to stay in luxurious hotels or stays. Simple, but cozy places will do, seeing as my main priority would be going around the area. A place with budget-friendly transportation costs and food (but yummy food at that) works best!
The beaches or tropical atmosphere! I'm someone who draws my energy from the sun and nature- so being in places with fresh air, salt water, and lush greenery is a must!
Beautiful destinations. Lookout spots to watch the sunset. Natural rock formations, and ocean cliffsides- are just places where you can truly marvel at the beauty of this earth. Places that feed your soul and make you feel truly alive.
Culture! Food, people, and social environments- it's so important for learning as a traveler. Going off into the unfamiliar is the best way to learn about life!

YOUR BEST TRAVEL MEMORY
My favorite travel memory would be visiting the quiet and beautiful provinces of Sidemen and Karangasem, in East Bali! It's a place not crowded with travelers, with stays nestled by the mountainside next to the rice fields and waterfalls close by. There, you could climb up the waterfalls and take a dip in the natural rock pools that overlook the forest or take a long drive up into the mountains to this beautiful lookout spot called Lahangan Sweet. Truly, the most beautiful views I've ever seen.
A place you’re dreaming of returning to
Vietnam! Just, everywhere in Vietnam. There's so much to see and so much history to learn about. When visiting Hanoi and Saigon, I fell in love with the food, culture, and atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and explore other provinces like Da Nang, or the old city of Hoi An.
Somewhere you’ve never been but dream of visiting
I'll definitely get myself here somewhere down the line, but it would have to be either Italy or Patagonia in South America- I can't choose just one!🙈 I've always seen myself living somewhere in the Mediterranean for a bit. And Patagonia just seems like every adventurer's dream with its dramatic landscapes and incredible wildlife. These two places are at the top of my bucket list!
