Hi, Frankie! Can you tell us more about yourself?

Hi! I'm Frankie, an aspiring artist currently studying Fine Arts in Ateneo with a love for visual storytelling. You'll usually find me walking in between classes or working on projects at a nearby coffee shop. I've embraced different roles as a freelance artist: from musings to graphic design work. Beyond these, I find inspiration in nature most. I find that long walks and journaling help me clear my head and spark new creative ideas.

If you could choose 2-3 destinations for a fun-filled group getaway in 2025, where would you go and why?

I love, LOVE the beach. If I were to plan a group getaway, it would be to Matnog, Sorsogon with it’s beautiful beaches and rich marine life! Zambales would also be a reliable option for a good getaway with options to hike or even just to watch the sunrise by the beach!

What are your favorite ways to discover a destination’s hidden charm and fall in love with it?

A pre-trip conversation is a must to figure out everyone's travel style and budget. This  ensures that everyone's on the same page and it minimizes potential disagreements in the long run.

Embrace the Planning Process

Researching destinations, finding hidden gems, and booking accommodations can be just as exciting as the trip itself. It adds to the anticipation and helps you feel more prepared!

Unplug and Be Present

There’s so much pressure to document everything on a trip but I find that it’s essential to take some time each day to appreciate the surroundings and really take it in— spending time together.

What are your go-to essentials for an epic adventure with friends?

A good camera is a must-have! I love capturing beautiful scenery, and I enjoy being the designated photographer for my friends.

I always prioritize self-care. Before any trip, I treat myself to a facial.
