Marti’s 2026 Itinerary: Less Prep, More Adventures, All the Good Energy

Some adventures stick with you not because they’re loud or packed, but because they let you breathe. For Marti, that means quiet mornings by the beach, hidden trails, and nights spent under a sky full of stars—moments that make you pause, smile, and just be.

For readers meeting you for the first time, how would you describe the kind of adventures that energize you most in three words?

If I had to sum up the adventures that energize me most, they’re quiet, scenic, and nature-filled. I’m drawn to experiences that allow me to slow down, take in my surroundings, and feel a sense of peace. One of my favorite adventures was my trip to New Zealand, where my family and I decided to join a stargazing tour. It was my first time seeing the night sky so full as I sat in peaceful silence, full of appreciation.

Whether it’s watching a sunrise over the water, wandering through a forest, or exploring a hidden trail, these kinds of adventures leave me feeling refreshed and fully present.

What’s one promise you’re making to yourself about how you want to travel in 2026?

In 2026, I’m promising myself to travel more freely and fully—to embrace new experiences and let myself be present. That means letting go of little worries, like unwanted hair, so I can feel confident and completely at ease wherever I go.

What kind of destinations are calling you in the new year—more remote, more beachy, more city energy?

Definitely more beachy! I grew up spending a good portion of my life by the shore, and there’s always been something about watching the sunrise that always grounds me and puts me at ease. It’s a feeling and a view I never get tired of, so this is definitely the kind of destination calling me for the new year.

What used to take the most time before trips that you’ve slowly learned to let go of?

One thing that used to eat up a lot of time before trips was figuring out the perfect waxing schedule so I could feel confident and comfortable while traveling. Over time, I’ve learned to relax a little: trips are for adventures and experiences, not stressing over every hair, and I can feel good in my own skin without stressing over every little detail.

How does getting laser hair removal create space for better memories in 2026 and beyond?

Getting laser hair removal creates space for better memories in 2026 and beyond by letting me focus on what truly makes me happy—travel, self-care, and everyday celebrations. With one less thing to worry about, I can fully enjoy the present moment and feel confident in my own skin. It also gives me the freedom to move through my days—whether at work, in front of the camera, or practicing yoga and pilates—I can do it all without distraction, so I can just be present and enjoy whatever comes my way.
