Girl We Love: Cass Venzon

What do you do when you're not traveling?

When I'm not traveling I try to find new things to do in my city, Manila can be pretty exciting when you give it a chance. From finding new thrift shops to exploring the weekend markets, you have no idea the fun I've had in our city.

What are your travel must-haves?

A good book, the perfect playlist, and a cute swimsuit.

What do you like most about Wink?

I love that Wink understands the life of a nomadic beach babe. It makes everything so painless and fuss free, which is what all the best things in life are. I also appreciate that you've cultivated such a positive and supportive community of women.

How does Wink help you with your travels?

Part of the reason I love traveling so much is because every new destination is an opportunity to have fun with the way I dress. So whether I'm throwing on a breezy sundress or a new bikini, the last thing I want to worry about is whether I've shaved or if I have a razor.

Best trip you've ever been on?

I spent a month in Mexico and routine consisted of eating and swimming. I would wake up, put on my bikini, and jump in the pool. I'd only break to walk down the street for some tacos and horchata. Then get back in the water, floating around until it was time for bed. Water, bed, water. That was my routine for a whole month and I've never felt more at peace.

What do you love about traveling?

It makes me feel like I know nothing about the world, it's such a humbling experience. One of the best parts is getting to know people from all walks of life and seeing which experiences we share and which could not be more opposite. Plus, food. I could eat my way through the world.

Do you have a travel bucket list? If yes, what countries/places are on it?

Definitely! Right now I really want to visit Morocco, Istanbul, Havana, and of course more Philippine Islands!

What has been one of your favorite dishes you've eaten while traveling?

I absolutely love the tapas in Spain, especially the potato ones. I could live off of those.

If you can be anywhere right now, where would you be and why?

I would probably be in Bali because I just visited it for the first time but we only stayed for three days. The energy is unlike any place I've ever been. It's laid back, fun, and has a something for everyone. I can see my self, spending weeks there.

What's your go-to traveling hack/tip?

Go at your own pace and don't be afraid to go out of your own, if there is something you really want to do, there's no shame in telling your group "Hey, I really want to see this. It's okay if you're not into it. We can meet up later." I feel like so many people sacrifice they're interests because they're shy. Traveling is a luxury, always make the most of it.
