CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF?
I'm a proud Cebuana with a passion for architecture, design, and yoga.
IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE, WHERE WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
Most definitely Morocco! I've always been fascinated by the vibrant and intricate architecture. That aside, I'm also very curious about their cuisine and overall culture. There are so many interesting things about Morocco, so it's definitely number one on my bucket list.
How have you been staying busy and positive during these times?
I've been pretty busy this quarantine period. I'm currently undertaking my architectural apprenticeship and managing a start-up business from the comforts of my home. Other than that, I've been joining online yoga classes and spending more time with my family as well. However, I've learned to take time to slow down whenever I don't feel 100%. I've been doing a lot of introspection lately and it has greatly improved the relationship I have with myself.
What are some activities you like to do? Can you share with us your New Normal Adventures?
I really enjoy yoga and the outdoors. However, the new normal has turned it into yoga and the indoors (haha!). I like to journal and re-arrange my room every so often to keep me inspired. I'm also constantly decluttering my closet and selling my pre-loved pieces on a separate IG account. At a time like this, a picnic and drive to the mountains would already be considered an adventure for me. I recently went to a firing range with friends and it definitely sparked my interest, it's a whole new world to me so I'd consider that an adventure in itself as well!
What's been your most memorable adventure? Share one of your happy places!
If you could go back to anywhere, where would you go and what would you do?
Me and my friends backpacked Southeast Asia when we were fresh college graduates and those times were definitely one for the books. We were able to visit an elephant sanctuary in Mondolkiri, Cambodia where they rescue abused elephants. It was so nice seeing them free and just co-existing with them in their natural habitat. However, if I were to go back to a certain place, it would most definitely be Bali - specifically Canggu and Ubud! I love the laid-back yet artsy vibe. Bali in a heartbeat!
We can’t wait to get you ready for your NEXT adventures! What are you most looking forward to on your next Wink visit?
I'm really looking forward to the laser facial with Wink Laser Studio! It would be nice to have a treatment that targets all my skin concerns leaving me new normal adventure-ready in no time!
