TELL US A LITTLE SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF.

I have constantly exposed myself to new opportunities that go along with my 7 core Fs: Fitness, Food, Faith, Fusion, Family, Friends, and Fashion (The Hidden F is Fintech 😯). As Japanese musician, philosopher, and educator Shinichi Suzuki always said, "Where love is deep much can be accomplished.”

TAKE US TO YOUR FAVORITE PLACE.

Destination: Any surf town🏄🏽‍♀️

Where to go:

THE ISLAS. The beauty of archipelagos. “What I’ve learned from the ocean” during this pandemic. And how truly important getting that vitamin D sun naturally is.

Listen to Slow Up by Jacob Banks - if you like songs like this, I created an entire Spotify playlist titled Daku

Where to Surf:

Canggu and Uluwatu, La Union, Siargao and Baler (I need to hit up Cali > Hawaii > Aus > and Japan soon.)

What to do:

Yoga - I teach some classes when I’m free. Yoga has taught me about my body potentially more than I can ever imagine.

Yoga and Hiking in Ubud, Kintamani, and any beach town to be honest <3

Jujitsu in La Union | Martial arts have been helping me with my mental fortitude in being comfortable in uncomfortable situations which my team Deftac tries to instill in us.

Spa in Bali

Party in Denpasar, Bali

Grab a bike (for land) or boat (for water/island hopping) and hit the craziest spots you see whether it be a beautiful sunrise trail or sunset. Surf/snorkel/dive and eat with love and gratefulness for your body.

Where to eat:

I found a healthy and sustainable movement lifestyle in the surf towns I go to. I’m not vegan, but I love its drive for health, and sustainability, and how its creativity evolved in man’s diet throughout history. I just love colorful food.

La Union

Masa - bakery

Great Northwest (GNW) - Coffee. Smoothies. Japanese. Italian. Persian. Filipino.

Makan by Eliseos - Filipino gourmet food at ITS BEST.

Siargao

Kurvada - get your greens

Catangnan BBQ - chicken inasal and filipino skewers.

Spotted Pig - coffee and cakes

Corner Cafe - breakfast waffles and coffee

Soul Shack - smoothie bowls

Bali

Any cafe

They make it so easy and fun at the same time to be vegan

Any nasi goreng / mi goreng warung

Martabak!

Kintamani/Luwak coffee (civet)

Where to stay:

I like Eliseos in La Union.

Catangnan area in Siargao.

Back Door Villa homies in Baler.

Any villa in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Uluwatu, etc.) is an architectural art piece. Lovely temples too.

Must-have adventure staple:

Yoga/Surf in the morning, martial arts/Jujitsu practice in the afternoon, hearty meals all day, and Wink’s Laser Hair Removal!

ON THE HORIZON

You need some rest and relaxation, where would you go next:

I will be hitting up SEA for the rest of 2022- Indonesia and Thailand ❤️ to cap the berrrr-months. Then heading west again—definitely in the books for my 2023 x

GOING PLACES WITH WINK

How does Wink help you keep moving and exploring new (or even familiar) adventures?

Wink Laser Studio brings me to an even closer relationship with my skin. To love being in this body, that has so much capacity to live, laugh, and move, especially to be in the service of others and to our world.
